Prime Minister Antti Rinne emphasized the fight against climate change at the Arctic Circle Assembly

Finnish Prime Minister Antti Rinne participated the Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavik, Iceland. In his speech he emphasized the fight against climate change. 

Prime Minister told that Finland will prepare a new strategy on Arctic policy which will set out Finland´s long-term goals in the region. At the centre of the strategy are fight against climate change, sustainable development and respect for the rights of the indigenous peoples as well as keeping the Arctic free from tensions.
